What this page covers
This page describes the cookies and similar storage (localStorage, sessionStorage, scripts that set cookies) used on aster.pro. Server-side processing when you use the website contact form or similar features is covered in the Privacy Policy (including email and workflow processors); they only appear in the table below if they set cookies or similar storage in your browser (for example marketing tools after you opt in).
How consent works here
Strictly necessary cookies are always active. Analytics and marketing cookies only run if you opt in via the consent banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: defaults are set to "denied" in the page head, and only flip to "granted" once you accept the matching category. You can change your choice at any time by opening .
Cookies we may set
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cc_cookie | aster.pro (first-party) | Necessary | Stores your cookie preferences (including a small version number used when we update the consent tool) so we do not re-ask on every visit. If the value is unreadable, we clear it and show the banner again. | 182 days (~6 months) |
| Variable (session / challenge indicators) | Cloudflare, Inc. (Turnstile on /contact) | Necessary | When you load the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile may set or read cookies or similar storage on Cloudflare’s domains to distinguish human visitors from automated abuse. Does not replace the CMP categories for analytics or marketing. | Per Cloudflare’s documentation (typically short-lived) |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google (via Google Tag Manager) | Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors and sessions for Google Analytics when enabled in GTM; only set after analytics consent. | Up to 2 years |
| _gid | Google (via Google Tag Manager) | Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors for 24h; only set after analytics consent. | 24 hours |
| Variable (set by Apollo.io scripts) | Apollo.io | Marketing | Supports inbound form enrichment and related marketing features; names and storage may change with Apollo’s product. Only loads after marketing consent. | Per Apollo’s documentation (often up to 1 year) |
| _gcl_* | Google (via Google Tag Manager) | Marketing | Stores Google Ads click identifiers for conversion measurement; only set after marketing consent. | Up to 90 days |
Tags you fire through Google Tag Manager can set additional cookies. Those respect the consent category you grant (Consent Mode v2); we keep this table current when new tags ship.
Third-party requests without cookies
- Cal.com — loaded only on
/contactwhen you open the scheduler. It may set its own cookies once you interact with it. - Cloudflare — serves every request; operational and security headers only, no marketing cookies.
